Selling your children's designer clothes is a great way to make money, free up space in your closet, and make fashion circular and sustainable.
Shipping and listing are free. You can send us as many items as you like for free.
When selling an item, Kidstorie charges a 50% commission on the sale price excluding VAT.
What is the commission for?
The commission that is charged is largely used to cover our costs such as transport, appraisal of items, cleaning, ironing, taking photos, online publication, storage, insurance, shipping orders and customer service.
Who sets the prices?
We set the price of clothing. Three variables determine the price Kidstorie gives each item.
1. THE CONDITION
- New: the item has never been used or worn.
50% off the new price
- Very good condition: the item has already been used but is in very good condition.
60% off the new price
- Good condition: the item shows signs of use, stains, therefore it will not be accepted.
70% off the new price
2. THE PURCHASE PRICE
We have a price list of the items and brands we accept so we can estimate the purchase price.
3. SUPPLY AND DEMAND
Thanks to our dynamic pricing system, the price of items decreases based on their length of time on our platform. If they don't sell at their original price, their price will decrease after a few months until they find a buyer willing to pay the right price.
